The Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado & Wyoming is steadfast in our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. Our mission is to serve and welcome every person affected by epilepsy, recognizing that epilepsy does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical ability, faith, religion, or socioeconomic status.
Epilepsy Statistics: Epilepsy affects 3.4 million people in the United States, with one in 26 individuals developing epilepsy at some point in their lives. People of all races and ethnicities can encounter a journey with epilepsy, at any time or age.
Our commitment: We welcome and serve every person affected by epilepsy, striving to eliminate barriers, create inclusion, and offer meaningful support to our communities.
