Finding a sense of support and community is vital for people living with epilepsy and their families. We offer opportunities to meet others, learn from their experiences, and connect on a personal level.

Circle of Friends Groups occur on a monthly basis with specific meetings for adults, young adults, teens, parents and a group for Spanish speakers. Other social events take place throughout the year for children, teens, and adults.

See a complete list of all upcoming events on our calendar.

Email us at info@epilepsycowy.org or call us at 303-377-9774 or 888-378-9779 if you have specific questions.

Circle of Friends Support Groups

Our Circle of Friends support groups provide educational and emotional support in a positive environment for people living with epilepsy and their families. They are led by trained volunteers who are dedicated to epilepsy support. Groups are online and in-person.

Contact group leaders directly to inquire about the group you are interested in.

Walk to END EPILEPSY

Join us for the largest epilepsy awareness event in our region. These family-friendly walks are held in Denver, Northern Colorado, the Western Slope, Colorado Springs and Wyoming and are a great way to connect with others. Together we can inspire the community to help end epilepsy.

Volunteer

Our volunteer program engages and empowers volunteers who embody the mission and extend the reach of the Foundation. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available.

Youth Connection and Leadership Opportunities

Youth living with epilepsy who become involved in leadership can give back to the epilepsy community while having many wonderful opportunities.  Youth who participate in our camps and leadership programs can develop important life skills, gain confidence, become leaders and engage with others who are living with epilepsy.

Summer Camps and Young Adult Retreat

Camps and Retreats can be a fantastic way for young people to make new friends and develop a sense of accomplishment. We provide a safe camping experience with licensed medical staff on-site 24/7 along with experienced counselors.

Youth Council

Youth Council is for teens/young adults ages 11-22 who have been diagnosed with epilepsy or are a sibling or a child of a parent who has been diagnosed with epilepsy. If you want to make a difference and speak out about epilepsy, this could be the opportunity for you! To join or for more information, contact us at 303-377-9774 or marissa@epilepsycowy.org.
