Epilepsy Support Coordination

Personalized one-on-one support to help those affected by epilepsy to navigate through their epilepsy journey. EFCOWY staff serve as advocates and central points of contact by helping clients to set goals, find resources and improve their overall quality of life.  

Circle of Friends Support Groups

Dedicated, trained volunteers lead these sessions.

Spanish – This group is conducted entirely in Spanish and is for those diagnosed with epilepsy and/or their loved ones. It meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00-7:30 pm.

You, Me, and Epilepsy Makes Three – This group is for adults diagnosed with epilepsy and/or their loved ones. It meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 7:00-8:30 pm.

Adults – This group is for adults diagnosed with epilepsy. It meets the first Thursday of each month from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.

Parents – This group is for parents of those with an epilepsy diagnosis. It meets the fourth Monday of every month from 6:00-7:30 pm.

Teen – This group is for teens, ages 13-17, diagnosed with epilepsy. It meets on the third Saturday of every month from 4:00-5:30 pm.

Do you not see a group that fits your interest, and you would like to start one? All of our groups are led by trained volunteers who are dedicated to epilepsy support. Networking Groups

CAN is a leadership group for adults living with or connected to epilepsy who support each other and the community through planning and implementing projects in their local community such as

  • Social events
  • Raising awareness about epilepsy
  • Providing support by bringing programs and services directly to their neighborhoods, workplaces, and places of worship
  • Planning service activities
  • Advocacy
  • Promoting fundraising opportunities

Mountain Support Group | Eagle

Durango

Two groups offered: Adults and Youth Living with Challenging Health Conditions, Parents of Youth Living with Epilepsy.

Denver – Epilepsy Support Group “Seize the Day”
