Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership position will lead the Foundation’s multi-state education, advocacy, medical engagement, and mission initiatives across Colorado and Wyoming.

This unpaid internship opportunity is focused on the events and programs of the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado and in Wyoming. Reporting to and working closely with the VP of Development, the Intern is responsible for engaging the community in our events and programs to support the mission and goals of the Foundation.

The Community Outreach Internship focuses on training and education about epilepsy/seizures and increasing the outreach efforts of the Foundation. This individual will represent the Foundation and work with the team to implement initiatives that increase the Foundation’s visibility within the surrounding community.

The epilepsyWORKS Program Intern will play a key role in supporting the epilepsyWORKS employment initiative. Working closely with the Director of epilepsyWORKS, the intern will assist in providing employment services to people with epilepsy, engage and collaborate with employers, and explore various marketing and funding opportunities available for non-profits.
