Preferred Provider Network (PPN) & Mental Health
Living with seizures comes with a unique set of challenges. The unpredictability of seizures, associated stigma, restrictions, loss, isolation, sleep disruption, and medication side effects can significantly impact mental health. Recognizing this complexity, we have developed a network of professionals who have received training to support individuals with epilepsy and non-epileptic seizures and improve their mental well-being. We also recognize that family members of those with seizures also have a unique situation as well and may need support. Our PPN isn’t just for those feeling like they are in need of help with their mental health, it can also be beneficial to help learn how to manage stress, changes in family dynamics with a new diagnosis, or just processing what is going on.
We understand that caring for your mental health is an important part of living with epilepsy and often has barriers. You don’t have to do it alone; we’re here to help!
